Black Pearl Earring-Lovely To Look At-Better To Own
Filed under: jewelry

I saw the most beautiful black pearl earring on the Internet today.

It will be our 37th anniversary this year in July. Each year has a different traditional gift that is just for that year. Each year my husband surprises me with something beautiful.

On our first year anniversary the traditional gift was paper. He didn’t like that gift very well so he gave me a purple pig instead. At least it starts with a P!

On the fifth anniversary the traditional gift is wood. He built me a charming oak cabinet.

On our tenth anniversary the traditional gift is tin. He gave me a pie plate to fill with his favorite pie.

On the 15th, which is crystal traditionally, he took me to Germany. We went to the glass blowers shop and got a set of crystal goblets.

Of course china is for the 20th wedding anniversary. I did receive my set of china for this anniversary.

On my 30th wedding anniversary he took me to Hawaii and I hand selected my pearl. This is the traditional gift for this year.

The 35th year is coral.

This year on our 37th wedding anniversary there isn’t a traditional gift. I don’t know what to expect. I hope he continues the Hawaii tradition. I would like black pearl earrings.

The 40th anniversary is ruby and of course the 50th is gold.

The place on the Internet that I found has links to lots of online jewelry shops. I liked this because I could look at many different black pearl earrings at one time from the various jewelers. They ranged in price from $20 to $2,000 and everywhere in-between.

Oh, I almost forgot, the place is www.lookingoodagain.com Check it out; I think you will like it as much as I did.

I think we should make the 37th anniversary, the black pearl earring wedding anniversary!
